NLP for Trainers

This is not a practitioner course…it is a program designed to provide the best of NLP specifically for trainers, presenters and facilitators.  It is an intensive 7-day program and not for the feint hearted.  The next program will be in Melbourne on 2-8 January, 2012 *. - 1 PLACE LEFT

We believe that NLP is what gives great trainers the edge by creating:

Great communicators who:

  • Know their outcomes
  • Recognise and respond to feedback
  • Have behavioural flexibility

Great thinkers who:

  • Use their whole brain for thinking
  • Can shift “perceptual positions” (self, other and context points of view)
  • Work with the ‘unconscious mind’ as well as the ‘conscious mind’
  • Project the consequences of their behaviour into the future

Self aware practitioners who:

  • Set a self chosen direction in their lives
  • Know their strengths and weaknesses and play to either or both by choice
  • Have tools for changing or enhancing behaviour and capabilities
  • Evaluate and update beliefs and enrich their sense of identity

Great learners who:

  • Have the ability to accept difference in others models of the world
  • Are capable communicators and thinkers

This 7 day intensive program will provide you with the opportunity to learn and practise the skills and techniques of a practitioner of NLP.

What is NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) studies the way people take in information from the world, how they describe it to themselves with their senses, filter it with their beliefs and values and act on the result.

NLP is a methodology for replicating the talents of highly capable individuals from many fields of endeavour.  Dr John Grinder, a linguistics professor and Dr Richard Bandler, a computer scientist, conducted the original research, which led to the development of NLP.  They were joined by their wives Judith DeLozier, an anthropologist, and Leslie Cameron-Bandler, a social worker.

NLP has been applied in a number of areas of the business world.  These include business communications, negotiation skills, meeting management, presentation/speaking techniques and training.
