Not all our programs are currently in our schedule, however anytime you have a group of at least 6 people interested in these programs, we will be happy to discuss how we can make this happen for you.

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA40104)

The current Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAA40104) has been superceded by TED10. PEP is reviewing the new program and will be advertising new dates in due course. Please read our blog entry regarding the new TED10, or go to the IBSA website for further information.

Training with PEP – Moving Beyond Cert IV

Our flagship program! This 3-day workshop is designed to provide experienced trainers the opportunity to refine their skill set and take their training design and delivery to the next level.

NLP for Trainers

This is not a practitioner course…it is a program designed to provide the best of NLP specifically for trainers, presenters and facilitators. It is an intensive 7-day program and not for the feint hearted.

Trainer Mastery

Our trainer-mentoring group. Limited to only 6 people at a time, this program is set up to encourage trainers and facilitators, whether they are in private practise or working within an organisation to network, share and keep themselves relevant.

Flipcharts for the artistically challenged

You don’t need to be an artist to create visually appealing flip charts. It’s simply a matter of using lines and shapes cleverly. This 1-day workshop will give you the foundation skills to create the kinds of flipcharts that you, and your participants, won’t want to throw away!

Graphic Recording & Facilitating

Graphic recording & facilitating involves capturing, usually on large-sized paper—in words, images and colour—people’s ideas and expressions as they are being spoken in the moment. This 2-day program will provide you with a leading edge and unique skill.

Presenting with PEP – Stand and deliver with confidence

This 2-day program introduces participants to the basics of being in front of audiences. This program deals with impact, nerves, structure and style.

Facilitating with PEP – Getting to the heart of the matter

This 2-day workshop builds the facilitators toolkit full of tips and techniques to help groups achieve their outcomes. Come and learn about when it’s right to use an Open Space, Appreciative Inquiry or a simple SWOT analysis.

A Modern Day Map Book

I have been reading (or rather looking at) a new book that landed on my shelf entitled The Visual Miscellaneum by David McCandless. It's sub title is "A colourful guide to the world's most consequential trivia".

He has visually represented in interesting and cool ways things like dangers of death, varieties of romantic relationships and when condiments go bad. Some of the more "serious" topics include global warming, who really runs the world and the media jungle.

To quote from the intro " Swamped by information, I was searching for a better way to see it all and understand it. Why not visually?

Why not indeed.

As a graphic recorder, I found the experience of reading this book both enlightening and entertaining (my favourite kind of read), but what was more exciting, is that it was immediately useful!

I had the opportunity to be the graphic recorder at a recent Appreciative Inquiry (AI) Summit. Very large event, over 100 people and we produced some really good (and cool) work.

One of the processes involved a "card sort" after which I was handed over 200 index cards, sorted, and asked to represent the result visually. I instantly panicked and thought "holy crap!"... and then it hit me like the proverbial sledge hammer...."Visual Miscellaneum !!".

The result follows. I have removed some of the information that would give away the client name, however the chart makes the point. I have created people standing in a line, and the size of the person represents the frequency of the idea shown on their t-shirt, or on a sign. I was pretty chuffed with the result, but better, the client loved it!
